Field-of-Interest Funds
Donors who want to concentrate their philanthropy in
a particular area of concern often establish a Field-of-Interest
Fund at the Delaware Community Foundation.
Disbursements from the funds can be made in
two ways:
(1) by the donors or a committee representing the
donors; or
(2) by the Foundation's volunteers and professional
staff, who research local organizations and award funding to the
most appropriate organizations within the chosen field of interest.
