Fund Builder Program

Now it's easier for you to begin your charitable giving and help build for the future of Delaware with our new Fund Builder Program.

With an initial investment of only $2,000; an individual, family or organization can open a Fund Builder account. You can take up to five years to build the principal to the $10,000 required to create a permanent charitable fund while receiving tax benefits each year you contribute cash, appreciated stock or other assets to your account. Once your balance reaches the required $10,000, you can begin to recommend grants to the charitable causes you care about most while the Foundation handles all of the administrative details. Since the Fund Builder program started in the autumn of 2007, eight individuals and five organizations have opened accounts.
