In the past year, the Delaware
Community Foundation distributed more than $15 million in charitable
grants across the First State. These grants support innovative
programs that address our state's most pressing needs and promising
opportunities.
The DCF
encourages qualified nonprofit organizations within the State of
Delaware to apply for the competitive program, capital and equipment grants that are administered
directly by the Foundation, as well as those awarded by some of our
component funds. See our
Grant Application
Guidelines for additional information.
Some of the funds within the DCF
that also seek grant applications from community organizations and
distribute grants through a competitive process are the
Fund For Women, the
Youth Philanthropy Fund and The Next Generation.
Additional funding opportunities may exist through the newly-formed
African American Empowerment Fund of Delaware and the Governor's
Consortium on Hispanic Affairs in the future.
