directly by the Foundation, as well as those awarded by some of our
component funds. See Grant Application
Guidelines for further information.
The Foundation also administers
Scholarship Funds that have been created by individuals and
organizations to provide students and professionals with the
opportunity to further their education. See
Scholarship Information for details about these
scholarships.
Some of the funds within the DCF

The Delaware Community Foundation
published a Directory of Delaware Grantmakers approximately every
four years between 1990 and 1998 in conjunction with the Delaware
Association of Nonprofit Agencies (DANA) . This guide to
philanthropic activities in the State of Delaware was designed to aid
fundraising professionals, volunteers and other individuals in their
search for funding.
It listed the names and addresses of
hundreds of grantmaking organizations in Delaware; provides detailed
information on dozens of foundations and corporations; and defines
each grantmaker's areas of interest, types of support and
application guidelines and procedures.
The directory is no longer
published in book form, but is currently available on the
DANA Web site.
