Fox Point State Park Fund
S. Marston (Sam) Fox did not live to see Fox Point State Park
developed as he had long envisioned it – as “a window on the
Delaware River.” But his daughter, Barbara Fox Cole, has made
certain that future generations will be able to enjoy the park her
father fought for over a period of 20 years.
She created the Fox Point State Park Fund at the DCF
in memory of her parents, S. Marston and Helen Swain Fox, to enhance
the cultural value of the park. It will fund the Delaware Division
of Parks and Recreation’s Phase II expansion of the park and provide
for Fox Point flags and the maintenance of the flag pole site. Visit
