Since inception in 1986, the Delaware
Community Foundation has distributed more than $128 million, now averaging about $15 million each year in charitable
grants across the First State. These grants support innovative
programs that address our state's most pressing needs and promising

CAPITAL AND EQUIPMENT GRANTS: DEADLINE JANUARY 31, 2012
Applications are available NOW for our capital and equipment grants and due by January 31, 2012! Only 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations within the State of Delaware and those outside the state that
benefit Delawareans are eligible to apply. Each organization is permitted to submit one capital grant application OR one equipment grant application, not both.
To apply, please download and complete the appropriate form. Save the completed form and email it to bbouchelle@delcf.org. Be sure to attach all of the required supplemental documents to the email with the application.

FUND FOR WOMEN GRANTS: DEADLINE JANUARY 27, 2012
The Fund For Women will begin accepting applications for its 2012 grants program on January 2 from Delaware nonprofit agencies with programs relating to the education of girls and women in health,
wellness and life skills that lead to future economic

YOUTH PHILANTHROPY BOARD GRANTS
KENT & SUSSEX COUNTY DEADLINE: JANUARY 6, 2012
The Delaware Community Foundation's Youth Philanthropy Boards of Kent and Sussex County are now accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations in all Dealware counties. The deadline for the YPB of New Castle County was December 15, 2011. YPB members are high school students from around the state who do research about community needs, develop a grantmaking focus, and conduct site visits with the nonprofits seeking their grants. This year, the YPBs will grant $35,000 to nonprofit organizations serving Delaware's young people. For more information, see the Youth Philanthropy Board page.

ADDITIONAL GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
The DCF's The Next Generation and African American Empowerment Fund of Delaware also solicit applications and award competitive grants each year. Applications for these funds are typically available in August and due in November. The application period for grants from these two funds 2011 has closed, and recipients will be announced in early 2012. |
