The Delaware Community Foundation, in partnership with the CenDel Foundation, has awarded $300,000 in grants from the Potter Charity Trust Grants Fund to nonprofit organizations addressing homelessness (including the provision of meals) and providing crisis funding and medical care in Kent County. The recipients are:

To fund the Kent County Community Assistance program (final award of a three-year grant)
Catholic Charities, Inc. – $30,000
To fund housing stability programs for at-risk Kent County residents
Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. – $30,000
To fund outpatient psychiatric services for children and their families in Kent County
Human Services Council – $30,000
To provide emergency financial assistance for households in Kent County
Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition – $30,000
To fund the Breast Health Access Project in Kent County
Milford Housing Development Corporation – $30,000
To fund the Home Repair Project in Kent County
Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing – $25,000
To provide food for the homeless in Kent Count
Cancer Support Community Delaware – $15,000
To fund the Cancer Disparities Community Network in Kent County
Lake Forest Church Association – $10,000
To fund a refrigeration improvement project for the Harrington Food Pantry
