OChips for Charity 2016n March 5, 2016 more than 200 guests came out for the Next Generation North of the Delaware Community Foundation’s (Next Gen North) 6th Annual Chips for Charity event.Chips for Charity 2016

More than $35,000 was raised at this casino-style event that took place at the Delaware Contemporary (formerly the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts) in Wilmington. At the event, guests enjoyed table games like craps and blackjack; great food and drink; a silent auction; prize wheel and more.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local nonprofit organizations across Delaware. Those organizations will be chosen through Next Gen North’s rigorous selection process.

“In addition to enabling us to award grants, running Chips for Charity gives our members an opportunity to learn about fundraising, which is an important part of their work to become effective nonprofit board leaders,” Next Gen North President Kristen Kuipers said.Chips for Charity 2016
