Quarterly Statement Letter Copy

October 2018

Dear Fundholder,

As we close the books on the first quarter of fiscal year 2019, we have several exciting updates to share with you:

  • Our November 14 Building Opportunity Leadership Lecture, featuring world renowned author and political scientist Prof. Robert D. Putnam, continues to gain momentum. Both ticket sales and Book Circle sign-ups are gratifyingly strong. Thanks to our partnership with Delaware Humanities, 450 free copies of Prof. Putnam’s book Our Kids: The American Dream in Crisis have been distributed throughout the state. There is still time to sign up to attend this event.
  • We, Discover Bank and the Longwood Foundation are piloting social impact investing in Delaware with the Blood Bank of Delmarva. This pay-for-success initiative aims to increase the number of millennials donating blood.
  • We welcomed Rebecca Klug, marketing and communications associate, to the foundation. Rebecca joins us after serving with several local nonprofit organizations.

View your fund statement(s) for the period ending September 30, 2018 (Q1 FY19). Statements include each fund’s relevant investment pool performance. View each pool’s full dashboard, along with SEI’s Quarterly Review.

Should you have any questions about your statement, please contact Marie Stewart, donor services manager, at 302.504.5230.

With best regards and thanks for all you do,

Stuart Comstock-Gay
President & CEO
