We are committed to strengthening and supporting the impact of the programs we support. We do this by working directly with and in the community, building our knowledge of great work statewide addressing critical issues, and convening and connecting community leaders.
Learn more about some of our collaborations:
- In partnership with our Community Equity Project cohort, the DCF is defining a shared vision and set of priorities to address lasting challenges in our communities.
- With support from a grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the DCF led research efforts that explored critical issues in our Sussex County Latino communities more deeply and identified opportunities for collaboration and action.
- We are working with the University of Delaware and the State Department of Health to bring the new Healthy Communities Delaware initiative to action – building more intentional work on social determinants of health.
- Through the DCF’s Youth Philanthropy Boards, we are inspiring civic engagement and leadership of young people statewide through engaging them in philanthropy.
