To slow the spread of the pandemic throughout Delaware, all communities need access to vaccines, treatment, and information. Latino communities have been hit especially hard, and financial burdens and barriers to telework make it harder.

Summary: Provide more COVID-19 vaccine, testing, care, and information to the disproportionately affected Latino community.
Intended impact: Increase access to COVID-19 vaccine, testing, care, and other resources for Wilmington’s hard-hit Latino community.
Project description: The Latin American Community Center will hire more staff to provide COVID-19 vaccine, testing and other resources to help slow the spread of the pandemic and provide other health services in the future.
The LACC will hire a bilingual community engagement coordinator to provide direct services to Latino families and a part-time administrator to coordinate vaccine clinics, testing clinics and other community health events.
Who will this serve: Latino families in Wilmington and New Castle County
