Ballard Community Fund
The purpose of the Ballard Community Fund, established in honor of Cpl. Stephen Ballard, is to provide a grant each year (in perpetuity) to a local Delaware not-for-profit community organization to help support its community efforts. Each year, one grant is awarded in one of the following areas:
- the needs of children
- after-school community centers
- education
- domestic violence
- mental health
- women’s rights
- veterans
- law enforcement safety
- animal welfare, or
- Any other community organization that will impact Delaware in a positive way.
