The Community Needs Grant helped us serve over 1,000,000 meals to homeless, displaced and hotel stayers. We also were able to construct an extra bathroom, shower and laundry room, and launch a food truck program to help address food insecurity in areas where we previously could not reach.

Through the Delaware COVID-19 Strategic Response Fund, a partnership of the Delaware Community Foundation and Philanthropy Delaware, Delawareans donated more than $5 million to address community needs related to the pandemic. We committed to you and all donors that we would disburse that money strategically throughout the duration of the pandemic, to address needs as they evolved.
